Harmonica Williams with Little Freddie King - Ahura Mazda - Rare Juke Joint Blues!
Another scarce album that won't be seen often on record auction lists or in used stores. Some great, down-home juke joint blues from a small 4-piece band. It sure ain't neat, clean or over-produced. The only production that went into this project was probably getting the band set up and turning on the tape machine. It's raw, rugged & sometimes sloppy, but that's the allure of the album itself. If you were driving around Louisiana or Mississippi in 1971, this is exactly the kind of stuff you'd hear in the blues jukes that dotted the South at the time. You won't find much of this today - that's for sure! The front & back jackets are both near mint with only minimal - if any - handling wear. Both labels are clean except for a minor label error on the A-side (the label has small 1/4" pressing cut). The vinyl is near pristine as well. Another super clean and scarce collectible blues album!
I am not a record dealer, so I won't attempt to grade anything I list, as collectors often use different methods of grading.
