Description

In this experiment to offer more music for the buck during the early Depression years, Harmony recorded two selections on side-by-side tracks.  On one side, there is "Little Girl" done by (A) Frank Auburn and his Orchestra and (B) Jack Miller.  The flip side is "Sunny Skies" done in the same manner by the same artists.  (All four tunes were recorded on August 29, 1931).   Where to start the stylus is indicated by an "A" and "B" etched in the lead-in.  In this series (6000, 6500), there were less than a dozen records issued during the last half of 1931. Frank Auburn is a pseudonym -- for maybe Jack Albin, Sam Lanin, Lou Gold, Ted Wallace or another some such bandleader.  Condition E
