THE HAROLD ASHBY QUARTET – "BORN TO SWING" UK 1st Pressing MONO on the Columbia Lansdowne series imprint 1960 Cat No: 33Sx 1257 Matrix XAX 1961-1 N & XAX 1962-1 N.
One of the most sought after albums in the Lansdowne Series that was only pressed in tiny quantities.

All our records are Loricraft cleaned and inspected under magnified very bright light prior to play grading.
COVER
The front laminated flip back cover displays well retaining much of it’s original colour to the front slick. The opening edge is sharp and true, moderate corner rubbing, creasing and laminate lift. 1” Split to bottom seam. The spine text fully legible NO stamps or tears. The unlaminated back cover has displays some yellowing all text is sharp and fully legible. No foxing, ring wear or stamps, sticker removal mark top right and bottom right Condition grade = VG (Very Good)
RECORD
The flat well centered MONO playing surfaces display a strong sheen under bright magnified light. light sleeve removal marks (Non audible) and light hairlines (Non feel-able) The first pressing labels display well. No writing, stickers, stamps or other detractors. There is NO warp or buckle. Record surfaces = VG+ (very good plus.) Labels = EX (Excellent) Audibly with a 1mil Mono cartridge this record played well with minimal loss in fidelity (EX-)
