  • Died: March 7, 1971, London
    •   Format: Vinyl, LP  Country: UK Released: 1970 Genre: Jazz / Jazz Fusion  Harold McNair was part of the influx of West Indian musicians into the UK during the 1940s, '50s and '60s. He took his place on Britain's burgeoning jazz scene alongside fellow expatriates Joe Harriott, Shake Keane, Harry Beckett, Wilton 'Bogey' Gaynair and Dizzy Reece, rapidly establishing himself as one of its brightest stars. This was largely due to his breathtaking virtuosity as a flautist, an instrument on which he possessed a unique and highly personal sound.

    An uncredited organ can be heard clearly throughout the record which may have been Steve Winwood.   ALBUM IN GOOD CONDITION , cover showing shelf life wear on spine and edges. No damage to vinyl. Pink square on cover contains original balloon, which is beginning to slowly become a bit brittle.
