Description
Signature look 100% authentic to me, done in black ball point pen. I am a professional record dealer and have had real Harry Nilsson signatures twice before because I live and work the whole Los Angeles area. I found this in a classic rock collection I bought a while back. The people I bought it from didn’t realize it was even there. Finding a humble small signature on a not perfect condition record in LA usually indicates it’s genuine. No authentication no certificate. I personally am confident the signature is authentic. If you want to get authentication that’s between you and them.
Real signatures of his are always small and usually have a date or message. If they are any fancier or bigger than this they are probably fake. His autograph is actually very rare, he died in 1994 and was out of the limelight for the last part of his life. He wasn’t a pop star getting mobbed by teenage girls or one to do record store appearances. He didn’t sign many autographs.
CONDITION: COVER IS VG CONDITION AND HAS MOISTURE DAMAGE ON BACK STILL LOOKS GOOD FROM THE FRONT. TAPE ON BOTTOM SPINE.
LP IS A NICE VG+ FAINT WEAR NO MAJOR SCRATCHES SHOULD PLAY WELL.
