Description

Harry Partch Plectra and Percussion Dances Self Released 1953 LP with booklet. This seems rare; he was a friend of my Dad's. What I can tell from looking at it is that it was originally a recording for a radio station; released under the name of "Gate to Illusion" Gate 5 records. Condition of the LP looks fantastic; seems it was rarely played. A couple neat little asides ( "not quite" stamped over the word "complete). States also that it is Issue 4; second release which Mr. Partch seems to want to communicate was better than the first (?). I was not able to locate any copyright information on the item. 
Also includes a booklet with photos of Mr. Partch's musical inventions. 
I haven't seen this particular album listed anywhere online so I am going to assume it's rare. Listing what I think it's worth but please contact with offers. Shipping will include insurance. Ships from clean home; no pets, no health issues. USPS from USA. Thanks!
