This is the complete 4 volume (4 x 2lp - 8 LPs total) set of the legendary collection of American folk music compiled by folklorist Harry Smith in 1952, re-issued on Doxy records in 2009. This was a seminal collection that inspired a host of artists including Bob Dylan, John Fahey, Patti Smith, Nick Cave and hundreds more.
