Harry (The Hipster) Gibson "Boogie Woogie In Blue" 1944

RARE Musicraft Records (290-293), Mono, Piano

Noted for his fiery barrelhouse piano style and unrestrained, howling vocals, Harry "The Hipster" Gibson was a fixture on the boogie-woogie scene on 52nd Street in Manhattan.  This Musicraft album comprises four double-sided 78 rpm singles (290-293), showcasing Gibson on the hippest numbers in his repertoire.
CONDITION:
290: E- to E (However, there are some tangible bumps in the vinyl, ranging in width from a pinpoint to an eraser head.) 291: E (Some very light hairline scratches, an "unfeelable" circular marking on the B-side vinyl.) 292: E- (Shows several minor scuffs and scratches; expect some noticeable surface noise on playback.) *Note: Record #292 has a different color label than the others.  290, 291, and 293 have red labels with golden accents; 292 is grey with navy accents.) 293: E- (Shows significant wear and some minor scuffs.)
Cover: Binding is still intact, although the paper has begun to peel away.  Cover picture remains in great condition.
