Condition: Very good. Slight wear on jacket (split part-way through top, cutout hole). LP in excellent shape.

Hosono has been a major influence and genre-bending force in Japanese pop music since the early 70's, first as a member of the psych-blues band Apryl Fool, then the Beatles-esque folk-pop quartet Happy End, before branching out on his own making many varied solo albums, upon founding Japan's most successful pop band, Yellow Magic Orchestra in the late 70's. Early on he proclaimed a love of tropical themes, particularly of the Hawaiian variety especially on 1975's Tropical Dandy.
