Description
The following record lot is untested and offered as is with no returns. Most appear to be in good shape for being 100+ years old but some show light scuffs, scratches, and pressing defects. A few are dirty and need cleaning. Pictures show condition and titles. They will be shipped Media Mail at buyers expense. No record sleeves but wrapped carefully. No charge for shipping prep or packing materials.
First are 10 Harvard 7" blue label disc records. They were Sears 1st label used to market records through their catalog circa 1905. They obtained Columbia matrices and didn't identify the recording artists on the discs. They are one-sided.
Also included are a couple "The Victory" British records. These were sold at Woolworth's stores for 6d (sixpence). First available in Autumn of 1928, they were a product of the Crystalate Gramophone Company. The last known release was '324' in March 1931 (this information from Discogs web page).
Next, 2 Emerson records are offered. These were recorded in New York City beginning in 1915.
Last, a bonus record. It's a cardboard record by the Red Cross. The label claims that it contains a personal greeting from a service member to family back home. It is damaged and unplayable but makes a neat display piece.
