RARE LOCAL ORLANDO STUFF!
This auction item is for 2 (two) MINT 45 r.p.m. vinyl records NOT CD or LP! Great for an American juke box, with the big center hole. Please check out all the 45s I have listed on ebay! Here you are, 2 great mint condition discs, and plain old sleeves as one item. All vinyl looks mint unplayed, no writing on record labels.Patch of Blue was a local Orlando group that played at Jim Viegle's nightclub at the corner of Bumby and South Street. When I came to Orlando in fall of 1973, "The Other Door" on Thursday nights was packed! Patch of Blue was the band and for their 3rd and last set of the night, front man John Cederberg rode onto the stage on a motorcycle and became Big Slick and The Greasers. This is the year before Fonz and Happy Days. I got to work with John in later years, he died too young, this is one of his pressings, the Viegles went on to become real estate tycoons. Just saw it on Discog for 70 bucks!
Jim Fortini put out several releases of others, see my David West listing, this is his from 1980. I was a DJ and he would slip me a couple bucks and ask me to spin them for him, we were an oldies station, none of these took off, but I drank a lot of beer there for a while! Rare !
