Description

This is a Cassette Tape of Hasil Akdins in the studio.  Hasil wrote on the Cassette Box, "Hasil Adkins Rick Miller Cut in Chapel Hills NC." And, "Who Took Your Clothes Off"   Hasil's writing is on one side of the tape and somebody else wrote on the other side (Rick Miller from Southern Culture on the Skids?).  Songs: Who Took Your Clothes Off, Someday Baby, T for Texas, Big Fat Mamma, She's Waiting, Rock that Thing, Dunkins, I Could Never Be Blue, Blues Come Walking In.  Tell Me Darling, Slow Hunch, Kim Rock, I'm Like a Rubber Ball, Heartaches Over You, She's Gone, Me and Jesus.  This is a really great tape with both sides full of songs - there is a little space at the end of side 2.  The song at the end of side 1 cuts off.  The tape says it was recorded in 1991.  A couple of the songs have Hasil sounding much, much, younger than 1991.  Hasil did have a tendency to mash up his tapes and record over his master tapes to include earlier stuff.  Some of the songs sound like just Hasil.  On some of the songs it sounds like Rick Miller might be playing slide guitar.  Only one or two songs sound like there might be a full band backing Hasil.
