Description
Original & RARE TEST PRESSING of this 1978 Album - 25 YEARS ON - by HAWKLORD ( really the reformed HAWKWIND )
The Vinyl is in Near MINT condition with few signs of having been played. The Label just has '1' in middle of one side & '2' in the other. Labels are clean and in great condition.
Album is CDS 4014 Matrix : A //1 UT & B // 2 UT
Sleeve also seems to be a test production as it consists of two sheets of card folded together to form what would be the inside and outside of a normal cover sleeve - but it does not form a pocket. As a result 3 of the 4 sides are open and more prone to wear than a normal cover. I would describe as fair condition as can be seen from Photo
The release of the album 25 Years On was promoted with a 41 date UK tour during October and November 1978. The stage show was designed by Barney Bubbles and was based on a Metropolis / Mao Tse - Tsug dystopia theme, featuring a projected film based light show, dancers in drab clothing performing mundane tasks, and spotlight towers creating an oppressive internment camp atmosphere.
