Description

Hawkwind 7" (45rpm) DEMO single of "Hurry on Sundown". Single dated.. "31.7.70 on LBF 15382".. with release date "Available August 14th on LBS 83348". I've played it today for the first time in 30yrs and... the  'B' side (Mirror of Illusion) is good, with just the background crackle/hiss you would expect from a 39 year old vinyl. 'A' side has a 0.2 inch scratch which renders a foreground crackle to the first 18 seconds of audio. But it doesn't stick / jump, and the remainder of the 'A' side track is as the 'B' side is.. wholely 'listenable to'. I am not a record dealer, and I am not a collector of records (I dont actually like 60/70/80s music anymore!) So I dont know all the technical jargon etc that vinyl enthusiasts may use. This is a record out of my loft (I've LOADS up there!) that I'm selling to raise money for new fishing tackle. If anyone is SERIOUSLY interested then I'm willing to give them my phone number so they can actually HEAR this record being played down the phone!!
