Description

An original 1st press of ISOS on the UK UA label from 1971. Matrix A1U/B1U. The vinyl comes housed in an original 1st issue die-cut fold-out gatefold cover printed by E J Day. We also have an original generic white inner from the time. PLEASE NOTE - there's NO logbook. This copy would ideally suit someone looking for a superb audio copy and cover - who was then prepared to look for the logbook at a later date. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks per side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are very nice and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. Very clean player consistently even when the drone subsides and there's jut someone tapping on a cow-bell...perfectly quiet background. This really helps with the overall ambience and mood - nothing to distract the vibe. Plug-in and take your amp up through the settings - this baby is going to sing very sweetly. No extraneous noise to interfere - just pure drone! Just the occasional isolated static crackle - hardly anything. A beaut of a player. Highly recommended.
Cover (Ex) A lovely looking specimen - there can't be too many knocking around looking this fine. When the printers got to hear what the design spec for this cover - they must have had a bit of a melt-down. One imagines this die-cut fold-out offering is extremely taxing on the printers time! This specimen is superbly preserved - much better than the standard fair that typically arrives to market. That front is lovely and flat without surface wear or light fade. Look at those zig-zag die-cut openings... these will usually be looking a bit tired by this point in time. But this example is looking ridiculously well preserved. The edges are all firm and without wear. No one has ever used the securing flap and notch by the looks of it. A slight crease on the upper most flap [that's all]. The interior is absolutely superb in all respects - truly stunning. Smooth surfaces without ageing. Edge wear is very slight for this title. The spine is well above average with just a bit of wear. All text is fully legible. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing and no splits.
