Hawkwind ORIG OZ LP Doremi fasol latido VG+ ’73 UAL34730 Space Rock prog Rock
Original 1st press OZ LP released in 1973 on United artist Records. Cat: UAL34730. Comes with printed inner bag which is in Excellent condition. Also has foldout O/S insert which is in Excellent condition.
Record has been cleaned on a Pro-ject VC-S2 Record Cleaning machine and listened through for quality.
Doremi may not be Hawkwind's most renowned album, but it carries the same type of prog rock spaciness as their first two releases. Even though the keyboard playing is trimmed down just a tad, the introduction of Ian Kilmister, otherwise known as Lemmy of Motörhead fame, makes up for it. With Lemmy's hard-lined guitar playing and Del Dettmar's synthesizer stabs, tracks like "Space Is Deep" and "The Watcher" are infused with elaborate instrumental meanderings in perfect Hawkwind fashion.
Tracks : Brainstorm/ Space is deep/ One chance/ Lord of light/ Down through the night/ Time we left this world today/ The watcher. There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause some light crackles most noticeable at end of last track side 2 and is in VG++ condition. Cover has some ring wear, light scuffing on corners and is in VG+ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
