Description
Hawkwind - Space Ritual UAD 60037/8 double LP early press. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail 2nd Class.
First off, I'm not one of those people who describes something utterly trashed as 'Good', this is still a decent enough usable copy, just that if you want something nearer to mint, this isn't it. And being an early 70s pressing of a Hawkwind LP it's highly likely to show signs of having been well-loved/well-played! Anyway, on to the details...
Conservatively grading this at:
G+ for the foldout sleeve - has some ringwear, a bit of staining on the inside, wear along the edges, and each panel has a drawing-pin hole, so seems to have been used as a poster at some time in its life, BUT everything is still intact and complete. The original inner sleeves show signs of general wear and tear - splits in the centre along the bottoms, wear along the edges, and a few folds here and there with what appears to be some tape repairs carried out with that 'invisible' tape (it doesn't stand out too much), but are otherwise intact and appear to be clean with no writing.
The photos should hopefully give you a better idea of the overall condition.
VG for the records - Clean labels, playing surfaces are all reasonably clean - some light scratches, hairlines and general marks and signs of wear and tear, light crackle and pop in places but overall a very acceptable copy. I play tested the whole thing the other day on my Audio Technica LP-5x turntable and it was still a very enjoyable listen.
If I didn't already have a copy of this myself I'd be quite happy to keep this one, but that's the only reason I'm selling this - it's a spare copy so surplus to requirements. I'm sure it'll give plenty of pleasure to its future owner!
