This is a stunning UK original copy of the first, self-titled Hawkwind LP

This is a black Liberty label copy. There were some blue Liberty copies pressed, but these were pressed at the same time as the original batch of black label copies (as far as I have been able to tell). - For some strange reason, the first batch of UK black Liberty labels state 'Manufactured In Italy' on one part of the label and 'Liberty / UA Records Ltd England' on another part of the label...! The sleeve is an English, E.J. Day printing. I'm guessing that for some reason, Liberty Records (England) sourced either the labels, or the vinyl (or both) from Italy during the initial manufacture of this LP... But I have no idea why!

Anyway... The original UK E.J. Day gatefold sleeve is in absolutely MINT condition. This sleeve is totally perfect and as new! It is in stunning condition and you will NEVER see a better example. This sleeve looks like it was made yesterday!

The record labels are totally perfect / mint with no spindle marks at all!

The record looks unplayed and is perfect / mint except for a few extremely light surface marks caused by the paper inner sleeve. Totally amazing!

Ths is a genuine museum-quality, as new / mint UK original first pressing. It looks as if it has been in a locked vault for the last 34 years. Better copies simply don't exist! You will never get another opportunity...

I really don't want to let this LP go! I'm starting this auction at £30. If it doesn't sell I'll put it back in the 'safe' for another 34 years!
