Description

Up for auction is a rare and special 1st Edition PROMO vinyl LP by Eugene Mc Daniels
'The Left Rev. Mc D" titled, Headless Heroes of The Apocalypse  from 1971.  This is the true 1st pressing and has the "sample copy not for sale" label and run out etching.  Atlantic label Catalog Number: SD 8281 PROMO with run out etching ST-A-712097B AT-8P and ST-A-712098B AT/8P.    
The LP has a conservative visual grade of VG+ /Ex- condition as such there are minor surface scuffs and superficial scratches.   This is a great rare copy.  See my feedback for how I grade records, you won't be disappointed like with other eBayers who list everything as NM!   The cover is bright and shinny on the front with some ring wear.  There is a sticker "bubble" and a bit of a cover tear on the top right as seen in the pictures.  Seam splits across the top and bottom, but the spine is nice and clean. The back shows some light ring wear, but is otherwise great. The label is the RARE Atlantic white and black promo with "sample copy not for sale" on the left under the word stereo. "100" is written in ink on side 2 as seen in pictures.  This LP came from a radio station collection and many of the LPs have in-house catalog writing such as this on the label. 

All records look great in pictures, so I do my best to take pictures that represents the actual condition as well as describe each item as accurately as possible. The record will arrive clean and ready to play.  Full length LP's are cleaned on a VPI 16.5 vacuum machine, using a multiple stage system with Mobile Fidelity products including: Plus Enzyme Cleaner, Super Deep Cleaner (as needed) and Super Record Wash.  Records are then placed in a Mobile Fidelity archive safe inner sleeve (unless noted) and sealed in a Japanese outer sleeve.
