Dru Pegee with the Oscar Moore Trio – “Why Did You Leave Me” b/w “Till The Sun Stops Shining” (Blend 1001). Excellent 1955 release on this small California based label of singer / actress Pegee backed by the trio led by jazz guitarist Moore. Moore spent ten years with the Nat King Cole Trio and Barney Kessel said that Moore practically created the role of the jazz guitarist in small combos. He was voted top guitarist of 1945, 1946, and 1947 in the Down Beat magazine readers' poll. Record is in M- condition (has an “x” on flip label – see scan.) Postage will be paid by purchaser.
