(Hear) 1958 Tom King Rockabilly / Teen 45 (Love You Cause I Love You / I Know)
Tom King with the Ardells and the Starfires – “I Know” b/w “Love You, Cause I Love You” (Pama 116). Good 1958 release out of Cleveland, Ohio. King was leader of the Starfires which later evolved in the 60s into the Outsiders (Time Won’t Let Me.) “Love You Cause I Love You” is a good rockabilly sound while the flip is a solid teen rock & roll cut. Take a listen to a little of each side. Record is a white DJ copy (stock label is blue) in strong VG condition (has station writing on each side and a light hiss at beginning of “Love You.”)
