Description
Billy Dolton – “Girls” b/w “Winkie Doll” (Kaybo 617). Glen Campbell arrived in Los Angeles in August, 1960, and he initially got nightclub work and was introduced to the Champs via Dave Burgess. Glen Campbell's first recognizable singles were a kind of vanity 45s bankrolled by Coy Zeigler in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on Ceneco 1324 and Ceneco 1356, His first LA commercial single was under the pseudonym Billy Dolton on Kaybo 617, in December, 1960 or January, 1961. This 45 features two great teen cuts – take a listen to a little of each side. Record is in strong VG+ condition. Postage will be paid by purchaser.
