Viscaynes – “Yellow Moon” b/w “Heavenly Angel” (VPM 1006). Excellent doowop 45 from 1961 by this San Francisco bay area group The Viscaynes, a multi-ethnic – racial group that included Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Sly Stone (Sylvester Stewart) as well as future Family Stone member Frank Arellano. hey recorded "Stop What You are Doing" for the Trop label in 1960. It was fooled by "Yellow Moon" and "Heavenly Angel" for VPM in 1961. The group was composed of composed of Sylvester Stewart, Frank Arellano, Charlie Gebhardt, Vern Gebhardt, Charlene Imhoff & Maria Boldway. Take a listen to a little of each side. Record is in M- condition.
