Jesse Fortune – “Too Many Cooks” b/w “Heavy Heart Beat” (USA 738). Great spring of 1963 session by Fortune backed with Walter Horton (Harp), Buddy Guy (guitar), Lafayette Leake (piano), Jack Meyers (bass), and Willie Smith (drums) produced a hot R&B rocker on one side and a solid blues written by Leake (they spell his name wrong) on the flip. Looks like it is beat but take a listen to both sides. It plays through nice and it is not an easy one to find. I’ll call it G but listen and you’ll still like it
