Hear 1964 Vows Northern Soul Classic (Lost in a City / When a Boy Loves a Girl)
Vows – “Lost in a City” b/w “When a Boy Loves a Girl” (Big 3 400). Greta 1964 Chicago Soul release by the group composed of Berl Bynum, Lawrence Bibbs, Joseph Butler & Larry Montgomery. This was the “B" side of their 1963 hit "When A Boy Loves A Girl", a classic doowop sound. Both sides were written by Lawrence Bibbs and which features 2 future Chi-Lites, Eugene Record on guitar & Marshall Thompson on drums. Take a listen to a little of each side. Now the bad part, record looks only in G condition (therefore the low starting price - plays much better than it looks but looks worn and has writing on one label.)
