Description
Harmonica Fats – “My Baby Didn’t Come Home” b/w “Drive Ay Blues” (Dot 16978). Great 1966 double-sided blues release by Harvey Blackston, the Louisiana born artist who re-located to Los Angeles by 1946. It was 10 years later that he began performing publicly, after he mastered the harmonica during a long rehabilitation period caused by a serious auto accident. He appeared with his own band under the name "Heavy Juice" until 1961 when he made the R&B charts with the original song, "Tore Up" and adopted the moniker Harmonica Fats. This 1966 release features Fats on a great up-tempo rock on one side and a country blues on the flip – take a listen to a little of each side. Record is a dj copy in M- condition. Postage will be paid by purchaser.
