Jake Wade and the Soul Searchers – “Searching For Soul” b/w “Same, Pt. 2” (Mutt 8721). Great slab of 1970 funk from this small label in Inkster, Michigan. They toured with Stoney Murphy and Meat Loaf in the early 1970s. Their song, "Searching for Soul", was sampled in the 2006 Beyoncé song, "Suga Mama". Record is listed as funk in Manship’s Rare Soul 45 RPM Price Guide” and is in M- condition. Postage will be paid by purchaser.
