Original UK Vertigo Records pressing in EX/EX. 12" sleeve does have small shelfwear along bottom seam and top opening. Vinyl is clean and probably played only a few times ever. It's an 80's Metal supersession brought to you by big hearted Ronnie James Dio and band. Plenty of input and collaboration with the likes of Queensryche, Quiet Riot, W.A.S.P., Judas Priest, and more. Despite the songwriting talent involved 'Stars' comes across as just another Dio song and somehow nobody mentioned to Ronnie James Dio, the chorus, 'We're stars, we're stars' seriously lacked any hooks or originality. But those solos rip man. Guys from Twisted Sister, Journey, Blue Oyster Cult, Dokken, and even Yngwie Malmsteen trade off in classic 80's shredding, although flakey Jimmy Page was a no-show. Ultimately Hear N Aid raised over $3,000,000 for starving African kids, with a good chunk of that going for new tractors and agriculture equipment.
