Description
Justy And The Keybenders is my 2nd or 3rd favorite polka band, and yes, I've heard literally thousands! EX/EX all around. The ONLY copy on eBay, and the ONLY copy we've ever seen online or in person. VERY rare. Justy is one of the best polka bands ever from Wisconsin. We just entered it for the first time on D iscogs.
Includes cuts from all 3 Justy LPs, plus 2 songs that were unreleased at the time that later came out on a couple different singles - "Snow Deer Two Step" and "Toyland Polka". All tracks were remastered.
"It could be argued that there is a small subgenre of music, I'd call it "Farm Bands", that sit in the nether region between polka, country, and rock n roll. Often these bands are multi-generational (hence the wider net?), and they often feature family members harmonizing. The isolation of some may explain why these bands often have their own sound, one that can be picked out blindfolded after an introduction. Justy is one of those bands, with an early RnR guitar sound, and an identifiable jump-beat. They have at least 4 albums, all a good listen throughout."
