Description
Way back in 1977, Heart's original record company released an unauthorized collection of tunes and titled the album "Magazine". The band sued and all copies of the album were consequently pulled from record stores. Heart was only awarded a short window of time to rework the songs for re-release in 1978.
The original 1977 record is hard to find, and many Heart fans agree this version is far superior to the reworked 1978 Lp. Here's a fantastic Lot featuring both versions, plus a Bonus Record magazine with Ann & Nancy gracing the cover!
The 1977 Lp has a worn cover but the album appears to be in great condition...there is a small crease in the center hole (see pic #6) but it did not affect playback. The record played without skip when I purchased it back in the 80s and recorded it to cassette.
The 1978 Lp is Still Sealed and has a very tiny saw mark on the top. There is also a round tear in the shrink wrap where the price tag was originally placed (see last pic).
The red wax 12" Without You radio promo single has some wear to the cover (see both sides in pics) and the record appears in excellent condition.
GENERAL STATEMENT REGARDING 20+ YR OLD VHS, RECORDS, CASSETTE TAPES: I no longer own players for these types of media, so I cannot grade playback quality, but everything in my collection has been stored with care in plastic sleeves or covers, kept in a clean, dry, indoor space.
