Very Rare Lee Perry Classic - Heart of The Congos / Heart of the Congo Man LP
There are Several Variations of this Insanely Rare Lp - This is a 1st Press From Jamaica
Insanely Rare - Lee Perry wasn't Happy With the LP Design so he Hand Painted the Blue Lines Yellow
Released by Black Art Records in 1977 Matrixes Read LP- 4049
The Band name is mis spelt Congoes on the record labels and the mixes and arrangements are totally different to all subsequent Reissues - This is the real deal - 1st Jamaican Press Good Luck Finding another Copy........
Vinyl looks VG with Light Surface Marks, Glad to report it plays really well on my Rega Planar 3, only a handful of 1st presses were made and they were not pressed on Virgin Vinyl So VG Playback is probably as good as it would have been when brand New
It Plays with No Skips, No Jumps and no Loud Pops
Outer Hand made Sleeve grades a Conservative VG with light Corner wear as per pictures
Both Labels Grade Excellent
