Hearts of Soul - s.t. LP
Very rare dutch soul funk record by this 3 piece female group. These girls started out as session singers for Dusty Springfield in the late sixties before they were discovered. Later they would move to Belgium and continue under the name Dream Express. In 1969 they recorded their only lp for the Sark label for the dutch Boek en Plaat company. This record was never available in the stores but could only be purchased through mailorder. Apart from being a really nice soulrecord this record contains a fantastic cover version of Sly Stone's Sing a Simple Song. Heavy drums and fuzz guitar with horn stabs with a great breakdown in the middle. Perfect for soul and funk dj's to fire up the dancefloor. Please note that the horns can be heard very well on the record but for some reason the recordingdevise I use to make soundclips made them disappear in the background. This probably has to do with the fact the record is in MONO. Very hard to find and well worth picking up for this track alone. Beautiful laminated flipback sleeve.

Airmail Priority usually takes about 1 week to deliver. Airmail Standard may take 1-4 weeks depending on destination. I always quote the rates that are listed in the auction. I take pride in good packaging and will use extra cardboard for extra safety although I have to state that I can't be held responsible for items getting damaged or lost in the mail.
