Lost Demos 1980:
"Martyn Ware's newly found rarities selection, including alternate versions of stuff on Penthouse And Pavement plus some rare BEF experiments. About 20 minutes of demo versions of Pavement And Pavement tracks, 20 minutes of alternate versions of BEF instrumentals and the rest are experiments from the time. All are organically sourced and lovingly restored using only authentic FX tools from the period."

Basic tracks for Penthouse recorded in Sheffield and mixed (apart from 'Let's All Make A Bomb') at Red Bus Studios. 'Let's All Make A Bomb' mixed at The Townhouse. 
Basic tracks for Pavement (except '(We Don't Need This) Fascist Groove Thang') recorded at Maison Rouge, mixed at The Townhouse. '(We Don't Need This) Fascist Groove Thang' recorded and mixed in Sheffield.

GRADING

All of our records/CDs/ merchandise are graded using the standard UK Record Collector Grading system as follows:

• MINT(M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.  
• EXCELLENT(EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
• VERY GOOD(VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
• GOOD(G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
• FAIR(F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and / or defaced.
• POOR(P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
• BAD(B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as collection filler.

The above rates apply if you buy up to three records. We like to provide the best service possible and always reduce postage costs if you buy a few items from us. If you decide to purchase a few items from us, at checkout please do not pay and ask for total from seller. We will send you an invoice with the revised total. 

International Delivery

Please note that on international orders the above rates apply up to 2kg weight. (this is about 7x LP’s). Parcels over this weight will be split into 2 parcels, and postage will need to be paid on both parcels. Signed for post will be required on all international parcels above the value of £35.00 (a lower value for certain destinations]. International Signed for post is charged at an extra £7.00 on top of standard postage charges. (South American Countries, Africa , Italy and Spain all require this service).

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY TIMES

Dispatch

Dispatch is usually on the Saturday of the week of payment. Sorry can only post once a week.

Delivery

Delivery times to a UK address

Should be within, 2 to 4 working days from the day of dispatch, but please note the Post Office will not consider a missing parcel enquiry until 15 working days have passed.  Please remember that Royal Mail only collect on normal working days so if you place an order at the weekend or near a bank holiday period please allow a few extra days for dispatch and delivery.

Delivery times to an overseas address

Should be within a Week or so but have often been known to take up to 3 weeks.

Please note the UK Post Office will not consider an overseas missing parcel enquiry until after a month of posting

Undelivered items

If any parcel is returned to us because either the buyer failed to collect it or if the delivery address given by the buyer is incorrect/ incomplete.It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay for it to be re-posted.
