Heaven - Brass Rock 1 (CBS 66293) 1971 2-LP
This solitary release from Portsmouth-based band Heaven in 1971 is one of UK rock's hidden gems and original copies are hard to locate at a sensible price.
Stunning musicianship, soaring ambition and plenty of imagination resulted in a potent mix of jazzy rock, blues, folk and prog. It's a great listen, and all packaged in an ornate foldout cover (see photos).
While the sleeve has seen better days - lots of spine, edge and corner wear plus a minor tear inside grades it no better than VG - the vinyl is in largely great shape and grades excellent both visually and audio, bar one small scratch on Side 2 which doesn't affect your listening pleasure.
Plain white inner sleeves.
Great find for collectors. Grab it before someone else does - great value!
