Description

For auction is an album of five LP records of Yiddish and Hebrew songs recorded about 1930-40. The records are in excellent condition and show no signs of wear or any scratches. This rare offering is performed by one of the last of the Golden Age of Chazanim, Cantor Pinchik. In 1926 Pinchik came to America where his fame and popularity commenced almost immediately. Jewish audiences and congregations were dazzled by Pinchik's music.  Some of the Yiddish and Hebrew offerings on the 5-LP record include: Dos Kind Liegt in Wiegele; Muoz-Tsur; Noo! Noo!; Dur Fuhrman; Neshumu-Neshumu; Schlof Kindele; Adonoi, Adonoi. The five records offer ten selections. Please check the photos. This is a very special and one-time offering.

There is a 6th LP in the 6-folder album. The 6th sleeve contains the 1964 sound track from Fiddler on the Roof. This vinyl LP has considerable signs of use and play and is only included to maintain the continuity of the sleeve binding. The album (cover, back and binding) shows its age but has served admirably to preserve the contents.
