Description
Clean and tidy 1st pressing Mono copy of Heinz Burt’s classic and rare 1964 tribute to the great Eddie Cochran, produced by Joe Meek. The musicians on the album read like a who’s who of British rock – Ritchie Blackmore (Deep Purple), Chas Hodges (Heads Hands & Feet, Chas & Dave), Roy Phillips (The Peddlers) and Mick Underwood (Quatermass, Gillan).
Sleeve VG Front laminated with flipbacks. Not bad at all for its age. Some light creasing and rubbing, plus some age-related yellowing/browning to the reverse.
Labels Ex Very clean, no marks or writing. Moderate but not excessive spindle traces.
Inner VG- Original polylined bag. Rather creased but intact.
Record Visually VG/VG+, some light hairlines and minor scuffs visible in normal light, certainly nothing serious or offensive. Fully play tested and sounds fine for its age, very good audio throughout (taking into account the idiosyncrasies of Joe Meek’s production techniques!) Some inevitable light crackle here and there but no sticks or jumps on my deck.
I grade all records strictly using the 'Record Collector' grading system.
