-Vinyl-Very Good (VG) - small scratch near end of track 3

-LP Jacket-Good (G)   3" split seam at top right, small amount of water damage/image loss at bottom. Inner sleeve is not original.

Helen Merrill is the debut studio album by Helen Merrill, Arrangements by Quincy Jones and accompanied by trumpeter Clifford Brown and a host of other great names.

The Allmusic review by Scott Yanow awarded the album four and a half stars and said that "The music is essentially straight-ahead bop, yet the seven standards...are uplifted by the presence of Merrill (in top form) and Brown".[1]
