Description
EmArcy MG 36078, deep groove, 12 tracks. Recorded in 1956, arranged by Gil Evans. From 3 recording sessions. Collectively some of artists include: Hank Jones, piano; Joe Morello, drums, John LaPorta, clarinet, alto sax; Art Farmer, trumpet; Jimmy Cleveland, trombone; Oscar Pettiford, bass and more. Includes strings. Cover: VG Scotch tape along the top and bottom edges. Possibly more for protection than repair. Some peeling of the lamination and light discoloration on the front cover. Some wear on the insert edge, front cover. Light aging on the back cover. Record: Mint(-) Visually shows no wear. Possibly plaed only a few times. The appearance of the vinyl is clean and has seems unplayed. Except for a rare, infrequent, light click, barely audible, no surface noise. In the rating I have added the(-) next to the mint to reflect these minor clicks. Most of the record place close to mint in spite of the condition of the cover. Audibly checked.
