Description


I had the extreme good fortune to have served as legendary jazz drummer Joe Morello's assistant and drum technician for many years. I was also the editor of his wonderful book, Master Studies II.
Up for sale is a vintage copy of Helen Merrill's debut album.  It is EmArcy MG-36006. This album was part of Joe Morello's record collection.
Cover shows wear, discoloration and tape on the bottom.  Label with "26" on upper left corner of front cover.  Numerous scratches on both sides of the album.
I tried to show the worst of them in the photos. I am not a record expert and make no attempt to grade this album.  I played part of the first tune on my very inexpensive turntable.  
There was a light skip every time the record made one revolution.  I'm not sure if playing it on a better turntable would make a difference.  I did not test any other songs.
The buyer will receive a letter of provenance signed by me.  Free economy shipping is to within the United States only.
