Hellen-Talon of King 1985 Japan LP w/OBI Mandrake Root Records 20MR LP01: This sole LP release from Hellen, "Talon of King" is an outstanding example of 80's hard rock/heavy metal from Japan. Great guitar/keyboard interplay all across this thing brings major Rainbow vibes. There were two pressings of this record; this is the first one, with the white border around the back cover and an OBI strip, that the repressing omitted. Some copies came with a bonus flexi disc, which sadly is not included here. The 4 pg lyric/liner notes insert is included, and in excellent condition, as is the vinyl, outer jacket, and OBI. One of my favorite releases from a lesser known Japanese metal act from the era, that rarely comes up for sale in North America. VG++/VG++
