Item Description:
IMPORTANT: In light of recent events, I need to point out a couple of things. First off, even though I'm just a regular guy selling my collection, and not a giant mega-store, I still believe in giving excellent customer service. I'm easy going, and I'm always willing to work with a buyer, if there is ever a problem with something purchased from me. All I ask from the buyer is that he/she deal with me in a rational manner, and I promise to resolve the problem. Secondly, since some people are either too stupid or too lazy to ask questions before bidding, and in the spirit of transparency, I should point out that I am a smoker. This is an issue for some people. If you are one of those people, you might want to reconsider before bidding on my auctions.
My grading scale: NM, NM-, EX+, EX, EX-, VG+, VG, VG-, Fair, Poor. So adjust your scale accordingly.
Hellhammer-Luxury 2x LP on Heavy Metal House Records (023).
It's unclear what year this was released. I suspect it is a Brazil import pressing. This double album compiles the band's early demos. Most of this material is on their "Demon Entrails" album. I have never owned that album to compare the sound quality to this one. But, this version has raw recordings from cassettes, and what sounds like vinyl, as well. The intro and outro on Side 1 are not listed. Some titles are out of order. On Side 3, the first few tracks have skips on them. This is from the source recording, not this actual vinyl. Again, these vinyls do not skip. The first few songs on Side 3 were apparently recorded from another vinyl source. It is the vinyl source that skips, not this vinyl. You can also hear some flutter spots, like the source tape (cassette) was messed up in spots. This album is for die-hard fans of the band. Nice pictures, too. I don't believe in censorship, but in order to avoid any conflicts with the fine folks at eBay, I decided to break out the post-it notes and cover up the naughty parts.
Both vinyls are borderline EX-/VG+. This is not the highest quality pressing. Some of these issues were in the vinyls when I got this new. Mild surface noise, some ticks/snaps, and some scuffs (some of this is in the press), some light pops. Both vinyls have mild warpage, typical of vinyl.
Jacket is EX- with some shelf wear and ring wear that is under the shiny coating (this is common with these types of releases), some bowing on the inside of the gatefold (due to a poor glue job at the factory), a strong crease in the upper left corner, light edge wear along the opening, and bumped corners.
