Description

The Hemen sarode is a true master-grade Indian classical musical instrument. I guess the age to be 50+ years, but its a guess. It is certainly an older instrument and shows minor wear and tear. It was built by Hemen Sen who passed away some years ago. The brand is carried on by his family today. Hemen sarodes are played by many of the finest Indian classical musicians past and present. The last head installed was cut off about 1/4 short on the side of the body but no harm. The next head will be cut off the right length and cover it. This instrument is not a curious relic but, instead, a fully functioning, superb, and fascinating instrument and there are not many. Shipping to lower 48 continental USA only. Thanks and good luck.
