Description
This is the definitive first pressing with blue print. The sublime Electric Ladyland purchased by me in 1968 (from the record shop in Slough Covered Market which was then the only decent record shop in that town), never lent to friends or played at parties. The recording is excellent, just a little surface noise but no scratches. Buyers of some of my other records (Floyd, Crimson, Traffic, Axis) have expressed surprise at the pristine quality of their purchases. The spine has minimal wear at the two ends and a little at the edges but the 19 ladies are looking good with no damage to the laminate.
· All 4 sides have matrix numbers ending in 1
· The record labels have a small inverted catalogue number and side letter, printed above the catalogue number on the left side of the labels
· The record labels do not have a Set No. printed under the Stereo logos on the right side.
Side A 61300#8 A//1 1
Side D 61300#8 B//1 1 2
Side B 61300#9 A//1 1
Side C ###### B//1 1 (613009 is stamped by hand)
This is a beautiful item, but it is time for someone else to appreciate it.

I have been told that I am understating the quality of this item. There are no marks or scratches of any kind on the record, so the playback is excellent. The cover is also in excellent condition apart from the very minimal wear on the spine. It does not minimise the impact of the outer sleeve when it is fully opened. The inner cover is unblemished.
