ID no. 9009644 Title: Live at Woodstock Test Pressing Box Set Artist: Hendrix, Jimi Product Condition: SS Cover Condition: VG Description: This is an auction for a STILL SEALED 3-LP Test Pressing box set marked (A/B, C/D. E/F) of the Classic Records 200g Reissue of Jimi Hendrix's "Live at Woodstock" with jackets and box. This highly collectible test pressing is from the first stamper and there are less than 20 in existence. Test pressings reflect the closest you can get to the lacquers and hence have a special collectible and store of value. It was thirty five years ago today when Jimi Hendrix took the stage to end what would arguably become the most famous Rock event in history. Who knew it would be around 9 am on the Monday morning after the event was to end on Sunday night. What we do know is that Jimi came to headline the show and did so with a great set albeit at least twelve hours later than anticipated. Yes, many people had already left but for those who stayed to see the world's greatest rock guitarist it must have been a fitting end to three days of memorable performances by Crosby Stills and Nash, Janis Joplin, Santana, The Greatful Dead, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Who, Jefferson Airplane, The Band and a host of others. Box in very good condition with two corner splits on left side. Slight shelf wear. Some small air bubbles on cover of box. Jackets in mint condition.
Grading Scale: SS still sealed these are original factory seals and not rewraps M mint hardly played but open M- mint- played some but not much, no visible marks from handling VG+ very good+ played but taken care of excellently VG very good played and may show some light wear VG- very good- played and may have some very light surface scratches G+ good+ played and probably shows some wear and scratches G good to the point of well played and shows wear and scratches G- good- getting to a lot of play and poor handling F+ fair+ heavy wear and scratches but probably doesn´t skip F fair heavy wear and surface noise, with scratches F- fair- heavy wear and scratches that will probably cause skips P poor you are buying this record for its rarity, not sound quality* *We care not to have poor records unless they are so scarce that it is worth it.
