Description
Original issue. The label is unique with no text. Side A, 2 tracks has a picture of a hand and an egg. Side B, 4 tracks has a picture of a cup of coffee and a pipe. 5 tracks recorded in 1965 with leader, Henry Grimes, bass; Perry Robinson, clarinet;Tom Price, drums. This is the first appearance of Grimes as a leader.
Cover: VG++ Intact and clean. Slight aging on the back cover. Slight scuff mark on the top of the front cover, less at the bottom of the front cover.
Record: VG++ Visually shows no wear. Possibly played only a very few times with care. On Track 1, Side A, several light, random clicks, most are barely audible. These continue on Track 2. Some are clustered for a few revolutions on the first 1/4 of Track. Most subsequent clicks are light with a few more audible. This condition continues on Side 2 with some noise and large intervals of no surface noise. I feel that the noise is a result of the slightly below average quality of the vinyl of the early pressings of ESP. Audibly checked.
