Viennese Dances
(Columbia SCX 3269 UK LP 1959)
This is a UK original Stereo LP pressing. It has a front laminated flipback sleeve which has a circular gold "Stereophonic" sticker on the front. It has its original polythene-lined company plain inner sleeve.
The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has turquoise green & silver Columbia labels. These are grooved also. It has 1st press YAX 207-3 and YAX 208-3 matrix stampers.
Sleeve: There is some moderate fading to the rear sleeve. There is some minor writing on the rear too. Two of the rear flipbacks have some residue, from another sleeve, on them. There is a 3 cm seam split at the centre bottom edge. VG- condition
Vinyl: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. There is one quite long (8 cm) but very light hairline mark. It hardly notices. There is one other very light 4 cm hairline mark. Again, this hardly notices. VG+ condition. The labels are in excellent+ condition & show light spindle wear only. The company inner sleeve is in VG++ condition. There is some light to very mild ringwear & creasing. There are no seam splits.
I have fully play tested this LP. It plays Near Excellent to Excellent overall & Excellent+ in some places. There is some light, very light or very mild crackle in a few quieter places.
