This is part of a larger auction of original, 1950's-era blues, doo-wop & R&B 45's. For this round, the focus is on smaller labels like Ace, Baton, Ember, Aladdin and more. There are several nice rarities and a handful of bonus listings of records on *really* small labels.

Year: 1957
Notes: White label promo 1st pressing. Original vintage pressing of this tough to find record. Not a repro or a modern repressing. Pork Chops is an obscure artist/band that released just this one record. I'm not sure it was ever even available at retail. Great mash-up here of doo-wop, R&B and blues elements. Very much worth hearing.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl itself is very clean with almost no cosmetic wear at all. It has been play tested and plays great with no pops or skips and no background noise. Sound is fantastic. Labels have some wear including some light discoloration and some print rubs, I believe due to liquid exposure at some point. No writing, tears or stickers. It's right on that line, I give it the bump up to VG+ due to playability, you might give it the bump down to VG for the label wear. Take a look and see what you think.
