Description
This is part of a big auction of mainly Herald & Ember 45's I'm running this week. There are several bonus listings as well that I pulled for previous auctions, but didn't have time to list. A few really cool gems. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for an Atlantic auction starting 8/21 and mixed small label auction (Ace, Baton, Fire, Apollo & more) in early September.

Release: Little "Butchie" Saunders - Great Big Heart / I Wanna Holler
Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1956
Notes: First single by the Mello-Kings aka Mellotones. One of the better known groups/records issued on Herald. This one has the white label with the unusual "Audition Copy" label & the "Special Demand Release" verbiage. I believe this was sent to media outlets for review purposes after the group had gained some notoriety.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with just a couple of very faint hairlines. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are very nice with original gloss and no writing/tears/scuffing. See pics, but this is a really nice copy overall.
