Description
"Still Life," by Herbert Joos, released on Extra Platte in Austria in 1983. Brilliant solo lp by Austrian jazz artist Herbert Joos, playing trumpet, alphorn, and fluegelhorn, with processed sounds, some electronics, and the "sounds of nature," in the form of a recorded thunderstorm. Exquisitely evocative music, on the edge between jazz and ambient. Both vinyl and cover in excellent condition. Please note that my scanner cannot capture the entire breadth and width of the record cover.
