CHARACTERISTICS OF DISK or COVER:

(1) 1st issue of rare Japanese original recording of Herbie Hancock "Dedication" (solo keyboard performances): the disk matrix # is SOPM-165 A1 1A2 / SOPM-165 B1 1A4 (machine stamped); (2) original white /orange label with CBS/SONY logo; (3) Paper insert of Japanese & English liner notes by two Japanese writers; (4) Disk weight app. 110g; (5) cardboard cover weight app. 120 g; (6) Obi & Herbie's poster missing.

RECORDING MODE: Stereo

DISK CONDITION: VG+ (visually very lustrous & almost NM vinyl except for a very faint linear scuff on Side B, which may be a product of the press processing, and  except for a few spindle hole marks on each label; but on play grading basis, VG+ evaluation because    faint mini background static noises or ticks are listened in places of each side, and Side A may have more background noises than Side B)

COVER CONDITION: VG+(Some small faint stains on the front cover: some mini seam or spine wear: corner dents: vertical & linear discoloration on the spine, but no split and still in an appreciable condition)  PAPER INSERT CONDITION: VG+ (partially yellowish and crinkly) 

ANTI-STATIC PLASTIC INNER SLEEVE CONDITION: VG+ ( crinkly)

ADDITIONAL NOTES: Herbie Hancock's first keyboard solo album (produced by David Rubinson and engineered and designed <as to cover>by Japanese staffs). Simplistically speaking, this LP shows us two real faces of Herbie: A very beautiful acoustic pianist on Side A, while a very funky electric keyboard player on Side B.  This listed LP is very hard to find and get even in Japan.  Recommended.
